Jotunheim Wealth - Assassin's Creed Valhalla Guide - IGN (2024)

This page of IGN's Assassin's Creed Valhalla wiki contains info to help you find all the Wealth in Jotunheim.

In Assassin's Creed Valhalla, Wealth points of interest are sites that include major resources, however in Asgard these are turned into Ymir's Blood Stones. Blood Stones are a collectible that only give a small amount of XP, and once all 33 have been collected, they can be given to an altar to obtain 5 Skill Points.

See the sections below for details of all the locations where Wealth can be found, and use our Checklist feature to mark off which ones you've obtained!

This Blood Stone is the only stone found inside the Aegir’s Hall area where you first appear in Jotunheim.

You can find it on the second floor of the large house where the World Quest Aegir’s Daughters start. Look for a ladder up to the second floor, where you’ll awaken anyway after starting the world event.

However, the chest is locked, and regardless of if you partake in the quest, you can find the key across the road from the large house where a very large wooden vat full of mead is located. You must climb the vat and dive down to the bottom of the mead to find the key, then bring it back to the chest.

One of three blood stones located on the coastline outside Aegir’s Hall, they can be found to the east of the main town.

Two of the blood stones along the shore won’t appear at first, and must require you to uncover the Jotnar magic by looking at the area from a certain perspective. Look for two posts with animal skulls near the shore to reveal several shipwrecks, and pass through the posts to make it reality.

Once through, you’ll find one chest under the nearest wreck - but it will be frozen over. Instead, move around to the south end of the wreck to find another set of animal skull posts - and look in from this angle to defrost the chest and claim it.

Once through, head to the far end of the shore to find a ruined longboat with a chest stuffed in the back. Like the previous chest, it is frozen over, requiring you to approach it from a different angle. Look to the side of the boat for a set of three posts forming a triangle on the ground, and step through the animal skull posts to thaw the chest.

Unlike the other blood stones along the shore, this one does not require you to reveal the wrecked ships along the shore, as it is already under the waves under a shipwreck turned wooden platform. Dive down and break the weak walls to reach the chest.

This blood stone can be found to the west of Aegir’s Hall along the road, located south of the Heart of the Wood.

As you move along the road that curves toward a stone bridge, you can spot an area of Jotnar magic, and sure enough, there’s a set of two animal skulls on trees facing a rocky plateau above the river. Moving between them will reveal a small wedding altar and a chest with two locks.

The first key is easy enough to find - it’s just below the wedding altar on a stone in the middle of the river below.

For the second key, turn around from the chest and use your senses to spot the second key, at the base of the left wooden post holding up the red cloth above the wedding altar. Look for a small rock at the base and pick it up to find the key beneath, then unlock the chest.

You can find this blood stone between the Heart of the Wood and Leyna Falls on the west side of the region.

Follow the small stream up from the larger river to find a frozen wall beneath a stone bridge that’s just out of reach. Climb over to the other side of the bridge and break the weak ice wall to reach the chest behind it.

This blood stone can be found on the far west side of the region along the river past Aegir’s Hall, west of the Heart of the Wood.

Follow the winding river until it opens up and passes a small abandoned logging camp. The chest is located in a small cave in the camp but is blocked by a rubble wall. Look for a moveable block between two sets of stairs to create a platform to jump across you pick up an explosive urn and cross over to where the rubble wall is.

However, the chest has two locks. The first key can be found hidden in a hanging pallet in the logging camp on the right side - just hit the cable with an arrow to send it crashing down.

The second key is located nearby in a similar situation - only the hanging pallet is protected by a wooden tower with only a limited view of the cable at the top. Climb up to the top of the crane the first key was hanging from to get a clear shot at the second cable and take both keys in the cave to the chest.

You can find this blood stone on the west side of the Heart of the Wood, just south of Thrym’s House below a small lake.

This chest can be found at a small Jotnar hostile outpost in a tiny canyon composed of a rock pillar with a tree on top. Look below the rock pillar to find a cart with a chest next to it, and take out the guards nearby to claim the chest.

This blood stone can be found north of the Heart of the Wood, at the ruins of Thrym’s House by a frozen lake.

Travel to a frozen lake with a small hole guarded by several Jotnar enemies where the quest A Gift from the Past takes place. The chest with the stone is somewhere north, buried under the ice, so you’ll need to dive into the water to find it.

Jump into the water and swim west to find a buried home that you can swim through the front door. Keep swimming until you reach a weak ice wall, and shatter it to proceed out of the water.

You’ll reach the interior of the ruins of Thrym’s House - shattered by Thor’s rage. The chest is down below in a watery pit - as is a key held by some Jotnar bodies. Claim the key from the frozen bodies, then swim down to find the chest and unlock it.

This blood stone can be found at the Heart of the Wood where one of the giant roots of the world tree hits the ground, and the site of the hidden house of the witch named Angrboda, part of the main questline starting with Mistress of the Iron Wood.

If you haven’t uncovered the house yet as part of the quest - you’ll need to in order to reveal the chest, which can be done by entering the Heart of the Wood from the west to find a stone dias near two trees with animal skulls. Passing through will reveal the house, plus the chest and the key to unlock it.

Look up at the top of the house to find a key in the attic of the tallest part of the building, and use the curving roots of the world tree to find a route up to the attic window, where you’ll find the key inside under a crate.

As soon as you exit the attic, look down for a smaller room down below across from the attic, and a walkway below with a weak wooden door leading inside to a bedroom. Break it down and you’ll find the chest up here, and unlock it to claim your prize.

You can find this blood stone just to the north of the Heart of the Wood on a large icy rock tower overlooking the valley before the Utgard area.

Approaching the large icy stone tower from the south, you can spot the chest at the top, put the rows of ice and icicles make a straight climb impossible. Instead, head to the right side of the tower to find smaller stones with some moss on them to climb up, and circle around to the front of the tower on top of the snowy platforms, before climbing the part of the tower clear of ice to reach the top.

Upon reaching the top, you’ll find the chest is locked, and a key nowhere in sight. Luckily, there’s a hatch to the side leading down inside the tower through a weak ice ceiling. Drop down, and look for two posts with animal skulls to reveal a new window looking back the way you came to a new rock tower where the key is being kept.

Exit through the new window and climb this new tower from the left following the trail of mossy rocks to avoid the ice. Enter through a hole in the tower to find the key behind a block you can pull out, and then use the ladder to get to the top of the tower, with a zipline right to the chest.

This blood stone can be found to the east of the Heart of the Wood close to Skrymir’s Mitten, and north of Aegir’s Hall.

This chest is hiding in a small pool of water near a tiny cabin, and is part of the World Event, The Puppeteer. The chest can’t be accessed normally, so you’ll need to take part of the nearby quest that mentions the hidden house. There’s a single door that’s barred from the side with the pool of water, so break it - then enter via the two posts with the animal skulls to find the hidden house.

Once inside, kill the hunter inside (or don't), and the chest will be in the back room on the main floor.

You can find this blood stone east of the Heart of the Wood close to Kyrmir’s Mitten, at a hostile site full of enemy Jotnar.

Nearby to the World Event called The Puppeteer, you can find a large altar patrolled by enemy Jotnar. Clear them out and move to the top of the altar, and you can find a section of thin ice near some explosive urns - break open the ice to find the chest.

One of two blood stones located inside the Skrymir’s Mitten, north of Aegir’s Hall and just south of the Serpent’s Tree.

Found during or after the main Jotunheim quest The Lost Cauldron, you need to enter the mitten to reveal a large expansive maze of chambers - some of which can only be revealed by Jotnar magic.

Once you move in and spot the giant mead goblet, turn around to spot a new area.

Once you get through the next storage area, you’ll come into a room with a door and a weak wall on the right, and behind it you will find the chest.

One of two blood stones located inside the Skrymir’s Mitten, north of Aegir’s Hall and south of the Serpent’s Tree.

Found during or after the main Jotunheim quest The Lost Cauldron, you need to enter the mitten to reveal a large expansive maze of chambers - some of which can only be revealed by Jotnar magic.

Once you reach the main chamber with the giant mug of mead you need to recover for the quest, look to the right to find the chest on a high platform out of reach, with a rope leading to a wooden beam. There’s a moveable block nearby you can move to the base of the beam to run up it and reach the rope, getting you to the chest.

This blood stone is located in a ruin just to the north of the Serpent’s Tree in the upper eastern side of Jotunheim.

advertisem*nt

Look for a large ruined stone building north of the Serpent’s Tree that has a rubble wall on one side, and stairs on the other - but no entrance nor explosive jars to speak of. While you can just use explosive arrows to get the job, the secret lies a bit to the north of this clearing, where you can find two posts with animal skulls to reveal an orchard where the stone building is.

Once inside the orchard, you’ll still find no new ways to get into the chest below - so instead take the path to the opposite stone platform with the stairs, and jump along the pillars to a point that overlooks the stone orchard building, and look between the two new animal skull posts to reveal a grate in the wall.

Cross through and shoot the explosive urns in the room to clear out the rubble and claim the chest.

You can find this blood stone in a guarded area in the far northeast part of Jotunheim, north of the Serpent’s Tree.

At first glance, this chest can be hard to get to, as it’s guarded by a Legendary Hunt beast - a stone bear called Steinnbjorn. This animal has a power level of 400 and is a very tough fight - but fortunately you don’t need to kill it just to get the chest.

Look along the sides of the arena to find large stones not covered in ice that you can climb, and you’ll find a path taking you around the slumbering beast to its lair of bones, and you’ll find the chest in the back.

One of many blood stones located in the Utgard region of Jotunheim, it can be found near the south entrance of the town.

From the south entrance to Utgard, take the left path up the street to find a chest under a floor of rubble. As there are no explosive jars nearby, you can however look up above the floor to find a cleverly hidden bag of rocks dangling behind some icicles. Get in close and aim up to hit the clasp and send the rocks crashing down to open the way to the chest.

The chest is locked - and the key sits in the house directly in front of the hole with the chest. Climb up onto the roof of the house and break open the week wooden wall at the top to drop down and get the key.

One of the many blood stones located in the Utgard region of Jotunheim, it can be found near the east entrance to the town.

From the east entrance, take the first right along the road to reach a recessed area leading into a tavern of sorts where they are advertising a fighting pit, and the World Event, Pit of Slaughter.

You don’t have to actually enter the pit, just head past the tavern into the room with the fighting arena, and keep left to take the first path into some back rooms full of cages, and finally through the a door where the chest is kept next to a large cage.

One of the many blood stones located in the Utgard region of Jotunheim, it can be found at the far northeast edge of the town.

From the east entrance, head north climbing up the various houses, stones, and scaffolding until you reach a path curving to the edge of the town where many Jotnar are gathered around a house on the edge of the cliff. Kill them, and search the house on the edge to find the chest stashed behind a partition.

The chest is locked, and requires a key found just outside - on the body of a hanged man on a nearby tree. Evior can’t climb the tree, but there is a block nearby you can pull along a wooden floor until it rests under the body, at which point you can climb it to get the key.

One of the many blood stones located in the Utgard region of Jotunheim, it can be found in the center of town at a great hall - where you meet Suttungr for the quest, A Feast to Remember.

Look for the large building near the center of Utgard with the hallmark tall tower building and enter to find a ladder you can shoot down to climb to the second floor where the chest is kept.

However, the chest is locked, but fortunately the key is not far away - just on the opposite side of the room in fact. In order to reach it, go past the chest to the other side of the platform, where you can spot a hanging platform and a moveable block to climb up and reach the platform, letting you get to the far side of the room where the key is.

One of the many blood stones located in the Utgard region of Jotunheim, it can be found on the west end of the Utgard town.

By making your way up the winding streets going up, you can end up at the set of stairs leading to a stone building with a locked door, and a chest surrounded by explosive jars on the other side. The building has a very weak roof however, and you can look overhead for a nearby zipline leading over the building you can drop off of and into the room with the chest, plus explosive jars you need for the next blood stone.

One of the many blood stones located in the Utgard region of Jotunheim, it can be found on the west end of the Utgard town.

By obtaining the previous blood stone in the stone building with the weak ceiling, you’ll also have access to several explosive jars. Leave the stone building and look left to find a rubble wall you can detonate to reach this second chest.

One of the many blood stones located in the Utgard region of Jotunheim, it can be found in the upper west side of the Utgard Town below the Enchanted Tower.

As you keep moving up the roads of the Utgard town, look for a sunken area below the Enchanted Tower before the keep where many Jotnar enemies are patrolling.

Your sense will lead you to a chest hidden in a store room, but the door closest to the chest is blocked. Instead, look right to find another door with explosive jars above it and enter.

Inside, you’ll need to move a series of boxes and blocks to re-arrange them and gain access to the chest at the far end of the storeroom. Move the tiny box out of the way and the left block toward you, and the long right block back to move forward. Then push the next long block forward, and look for a weak wall on the right, where you can find an explosive jar blocking a small block you can pull towards you to make room on the left side of the room, leading to the chest in the back.

This blood stone is one of many that can be found in the Utgard region of Jotunheim, located in the upper west side of the town by Utgard’s Vault.

Travel up the winding roads of the town past the Enchanted Tower until you reach the heavily guarded entrance to Utgard’s Vault. You can either fight off all the Jotnar outside, or look for the cloth covering of stalls nearby to jump past them.

Before moving further, you’ll want to get a hidden key. You can spot it just up the wooden stairs through a floor grate - but to get it you’ll need to go back down the stairs and look on the side. Here you’ll find a small crawlspace with a small crate blocking it you can move out of the way. The key will be located behind a weak wall and some breakable boxes.

Take the key up the wooden stairs and unlock the door to access the chest inside.

One of two blood stones found in the Enchanted Tower at the top of the Utgard region in Jotunheim.

Travel up to the far northwest area of Utgard to find a frozen abandoned tower filled with Jotnar magic.

You’ll need to access each level of the tower by finding the two posts with animal skulls to transform the tower itself, creating new pathways in and out of the tower as you ascend.

Once you leap in and out of a few windows and find a new stairway up the tower to a large open area, look against the wall for a weak ice wall and break it to reveal a block you can pull out and slide against a nearby wall to reach a handhold. Climb up and leap across to a high platform and you’ll find the chest.

Once you reach the Enchanted Tower, ascend through it all the way to the top by going through the two posts with animal skulls until you reach the room with the first chest. Use the moving block to climb up and reach the first chest, then turn around to spot another magic entrance turning the place verdant and green.

The new area now has several blocks you can climb to a window, at which point you can climb along the outside of the tower along a mossy path and up to the top where the view point is. After synchronizing, take the leap of faith through all the levels of the tower down into a basem*nt, and you’ll find a chest waiting for you.

One of many blood stones located in the Utgard region of Jotunheim, this stone can be found in the top northern section just outside of Utgard Keep.

While making your way up to the giant Utgard keep at the top of the roads leading up from the main town, look to the left before reaching the gates to find a frozen over gate where a chest lies on the other side.

Look to the left, and you’ll find a weak ice wall you can break open to find an interior room. Down below is a block you can move to climb up and jump over the row of icicles to a far wall, and shimmy along to reach the chest on the far side of the room.

This blood stone is one of many found in the Utgard Keep area at the northern tip of Jotunheim.

Once you finally enter the Utgard Keep’s Feasting Hall - the place where you’ll be invited to during the quest A Feast to Remember, turn your eyes to the large throne on the right where Suttungur often sits, and look above it to find a small hole in the wall you can climb through.

In the kitchen area behind the throne, a chest sits on a high platform. Climb up the nearby ladder, and shoot down the hanging bags to cross to a rope to a second platform, where you can pull some blocks out of the way to reach the chest.

One of the blood stones that can be found in the main Utgard Keep at the northern tip of Jotunheim.

Take the long stairway up above the Feasting Hall to the front entrance to the Utgard Keep, and you’ll find this chest just behind a chair at the end of the front hall, guarded by Jotnar enemies.

One of the blood stones that can be found in the main Utgard Keep at the northern tip of Jotunheim.

To find this chest you’ll need to keep ascending the giant Utgard Keep, killing Jotnar and moving up stairs and ladders, through an icy forge with a key to a nearby gate, and then onto another interior chamber. Inside, you’ll find the chest against the back wall guarded by two Jotnar.

One of the blood stones that can be found in the main Utgard Keep at the northern tip of Jotunheim.

Just after finding the previous chest in the interior chamber, look for stairs to a rooftop area where stags turned into Jotnar. From this vantage point, you can spot a weak ice wall on a far ledge, and you can platform against a wall on the right to reach it and break the ice to find a chest behind it.

This last stone can be found in a chest at the very top of Utgard Keep, requiring you to battle your way through all the Jotnar enemies, past the previous chests to the icy rooftop, and jump across a gap to re-enter the keep and up onto the final rooftop where several tough Jotnar guard a final room where the chest is held.
